Well, I hope this is a misunderstanding of terms. I think what you mean is a set-up. 1. Set the relief, 2. set the string clearance at the nut, 3. adj the action at the saddle. 4.Fret dressing as needed. These are normal and common things to check and adjust.
Adjusting the neck means a neck reset. Less expensive on gits with bolt-on necks, but a serious repair nonetheless. It means that the neck is at the wrong angle to the body.
Best is to locate a trustworthy luthier or technician (ask around among the better guitar players you know) or you could ask your dealer if you really trust him. Set-up is money well spent. usually well under $100, probably under $50 (depending...)
I find Seagulls have a high action. I lowered it on my Grand after checking the other procedures listed. Good luck!
